Doncaster And District Association For The Visually Impaired The Association aims to provide help and advise blind and visual Impaired people their families and friends where needed! We also run a self help drop-in-centre on Mondays where blind and Visually Impaired people can meet up for a chat over tea or coffee and biscuits. We go 3 times a year for a meal at a local restaurant. Once a year we have a day trip to the coast. Monday Centre opens 10.00-14.00. -
Doncaster Whist Club Founded in 1978, Doncaster Whist Club meets at the Earl of Doncaster Hotel every Tuesday and Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. Whist is a very enjoyable and social game of cards. Suits all ages young and older alike. Learning to play is not difficult and we also give one to one tuition. Tired of staying in on an evening, then this is a very cheap night out for only £2.50. So, if you enjoy playing cards or would like to give whist a try, please give us a call.
